Introduction
Greetings!
Welcome to my blog. My name is Brian and I am a professional software developer. I am currently learning Python, re-learning C and revisiting web-development (to make this website/blog).
I will be posting mostly about programming stuff that I’m either currently learning or have learned over the years hoping that it may help others. I welcome feedback and suggestions, both of the content and of the website.
Please note that this website is a work in progress. In order to know what kind of format works best for me, I need content. In other words, I need the usage code first before I can figure out the architecture and design of the site. So I will continuously improve the site until I find something I am happy with. If you run into broken paths, please let me know.
Though the site will continuously be under construction, I hope that it will not interfere with the purpose of the readers visit!
Goals of the site
My goals of this site (the design, not the content) are as follows:
- Good user/reader experience.
- The site should be fast and responsive.
- It should not feel cluttered or hard to find what you search.
- Ease of writing content.
- The process of writing to getting it deployed should be straightforward.
- The easier it is writing content, the more frequent I can post stuff.
- The reader feels secure and safe.
- Both being an observer, to if the reader wishes to participate in discussion.
- They should feel that their information is secure and that any issues will be dealt appropriately.
- Harassment shall not be tolerated. Be nice!
Projects
Some projects that I am currently working on:
- Simple but useful tools, written in C using the WinAPI.
- Handmade Hero lessons.
- This blog! Both the content and site itself.
